| Friday 6-38 am The car park was empty apart from the cab of an articulated lorry that had spent the night there. The beach was empty too. More than a dozen Little Terns were swooping around playfully. |

| Four Cormorant crossed the Bay towards the Headland. |

| Beach Buoy walked up the dunes a little to allow two ladies to enjoy the water's edge in peace. More and more people began to show up, a game of beach chess ensued. |

| Sammy the Seal said hello after making a few camera dodging dives. |

| Beach Buoy was feeling a bit rough as he had done for a while. He went no further than the sitting stop. No stack tonight. BEACH BUOY. |

| They arrived at 7-11pm around the same time as a prat with thumping music blazing from his car as he assembled a bicycle that he had taken from the rear of the vehicle. |

| Terns twisted and turned in the air above the sea. |

| They had ventured down to the water's edge. |

| The tide was well out. |

| It was a peaceful beach. |

| They stacked the stack and had a sit and think. |

| It was so peaceful Beach Buoy almost nodded off. |

| Stubborn Dog found it all a little too much... Beach Buoy. |

| Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog headed for the strand line and headed south. A narrow cloud came along and claimed the sun for a while. A man walked north along the water's edge with a large black dog. |

| They had a sit and think down on that large driftwood 'Bench.' The 'story of their own' couple appeared from the North. Beach Buoy moved on. |

| The sky over the grey rocks was as blue as could be. |

| The rock pools were crystal clear. |

| Stubborn Dog deflates on a WW2 tank trap. Beach Buoy found a nearby rock to sit on and let the morning sun warm some old bones. |

| Then it was Greatham Creek. The stumps are all that remains of a community of houseboats. |

| He cycled along a path the led to the viewing hides. |

| He checked on the seals as he headed back. There were a total of over forty spread across the banks of the creek. ----------------------- |
