SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 4 SEPT 2025.

 Thursday.

Possibly a Basil Thursday?

Time and a beach walk would tell.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the car park at 6-23 a.m.
An Esplanade lamp post rocked from side to side as a Large Gull took flight from it.

The tide was out beyond the Seaton Carew Wreck.
There was a light breeze from the west.

They walked towards the water's edge.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
A man and his Border Collie headed north before cutting into the dunes.

A few Gulls dotted the water's edge.
A similar number bobbed about on sea, like distant hook-a-ducks.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading back to the north.
Walking, talking and stooping.

A Lone Sand Martin flew by down by the sea.

A yellow ball rolled towards Beach Buoy's feet.
Milo, the other borrowed dog was waiting.
Beach Buoy threw the ball.

He chatted to Team One Black Ear as he made a fuss of Hugo, the dog with one black ear.
Just for the record he has a white ear too.
As they chatted the man who once had four dogs, but now has three went by,
They all exchanged distant waves.

Team One Black Ear headed back north as did the lady with a red coat and a brown dog.

The sun broke through the clouds from time to time.

The tide seemed to be heading out?

The Sea Serpent Marker and One Turbine.
One of twenty seven.
Three lines of nine.

Spots of rain fell as Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.
Two Sand Martins went by.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-10.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He had a sit and think.

He thought about the Sand Martins.
Usually they were like a supermarket item.
Once they were gone, they were gone.

This year, others just seem to be popping up or maybe just passing through.
Still lovely to see them no matter when.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.

Team Muzzled Dog and Beach Buoy shared distant waves as the passed one another.

The rain was starting and stopping repeatedly.
It was difficult to pinpoint a particular cloud to blame.

The lady with a black dog called Dylan passed by.

Apparently it wasn't forecast to rain until 11 a.m.

Mr.Gunn/Lunn headed south.
Excellent Dog Alfie was alongside  and...
DRUMROLL
Thursday Basil was there too.
He is a Borrowed Dog but only on a Thursday.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the Esplanade.
One third of Team Mick Aston Jumper gave a distant wave which was returned.

On.e man and his dog, down by the wreck.

Back to the van.

They drove off.
The jogging section of Team Muzzled Dog were jogging back into the Village from the south,

Rita the Meter Maid checked the sea front meters for returned coins.

BEACH BUOY.
