20, AUG. 2025 SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Wednesday.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-17 a.m.
The Lady who once fell off her bike was walking The Esplanade with her companion,

"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.
A metal detectorist scanned the beach close to the Seaton Carew Wreck.

If the wreck was on show, then the tide was well out,
It was.

The metal detectorist edged his north.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.

They headed southwards.
Both strangers and regulars were up ahead.

On the waters edge, a lady headed south too.
Her dog ran way ahead of her.

Up in the dunes, another metal detectorist searched for other people's misfortune.

The view north.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were headed that way.
The lady with a red coat, brown dog and a friend passed by.
They all greeted one another.

A lady that Beach Buoy had never seen before was up ahead with her black dog.
"Morning."
"Morning."

The man with three dogs, who once had four, overtook.
"Morning."
"Morning."

The lady with a Pug called Rocko was heading back north.
They chatted briefly.

The man and his three dogs headed south.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog peeled off towards the low level route.

Team One Black Ear stopped for a chat.
Milo, the borrowed dog dropped a ball at Beach Buoy's feet.
The yellow and blue Scooby-Doo ball had been lost in action.

7-01.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He stood watching the rough sea for a while.

"See you mate."
They continued south along the heights of the dune edge.

Team Muzzled Dog crossed the grey rocks, up onto the dune edge too.
They chatted about the weather before going their own ways.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued South.

The Tank Traps that lay on the beach, have been battered by the sea since World War Two.
Others stand in the dunes, untouched by the sea.
On some of these stood the three dogs that once were four,
Their owner stood nearby.
It looked like some secret tea party.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Sand Martin Corner.

No Sand Martins.
A line of stranded seaweed was alive with a flock of Starlings.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned north.

The day was as grey as the rocks that lay below the dune edge.

Beach Buoy gave Stubborn Dog Stack a distant wave as they passed on the beach below.

The man with a black dog came over for a chat,
Weather was the topic.

The Seaton Carew Wreck was still ashore.

They headed to the access ramp.

They stopped to talk to one third of Team Mick Aston Jumper.
They were stood at opposite sides of the Esplanade Wall as if it were a garden fence.

BEACH BUOY.
