SEATON SANDS, BLUE LAGOON AND MIDDLETON. 12 NOVEMBER 2017

Arrived around 9-30 a.m.
High tide was around 10-20 a.m.
The temperature was 3 degrees and there was a biting northerly wind.

Not many finds as the tide is high and getting higher.

Headed South with the freezing wind at our backs.

The Sea was wild.
There were waves breaking way out on the horizon.

The light was gorgeous.
We went through the Dunes, as we did yesterday in the hope of shelter at the Blue Lagoon.

As we crossed the Dunes we were treated to glimpses of the Sea.

The River Tees was wild.
A Ship comes into Port from the wild Sea.

A few minutes from high tide and the Lagoon part of North Gare Beach was almost full.

The view across the Tees.

The day was so bright and maybe seemed brighter than normal due to the recent dark early nights?
As I climbed back up the dunes at the Lagoon the colours of the Grass and Sky made me pause.

Back to the Village with the wind in our faces.

I was more than a little surprised to see two Yachts out in the Bay in such a wild Sea. I later watch them return to Hartlepool after the had completed a circle of the Bay. They rocked and rolled and at times disappeared behind the waves.

After sitting in the Car with a cuppa and binoculars at Newburn Bridge, I headed for Middleton.

A bottle top from my youth, still screwed into what was left of the bottle.

Stormy Bay.

BEACH BUOY.
