VANE TEMPEST BEACH,SEAHAM, COUNTY DURHAM, ENGLAND,13-02-16. BEACH No.10 OUT OF A TARGET OF 52 FOR THE YEAR.

I HAD LEFT HARTLEPOOL AROUND 7-30 a.m AND DROVE THE 16 MILES OR SO TO SEAHAM.
IT WAS A BITTERLY COLD DAY.
THE HIGH TIDE HAD JUST TURNED.

I WAS HERE.

ROUGH SEA ; COLD DAY.

A BROKEN CRABPOT ABANDONED BY THE OUTGOING SEA..... AND THEN THE HAILSTONES CAME!

HE WAS GLAD WE DASHED BACK TO THE CAR.

HE WAS HAPPIER I HAD PUT A DRY FLUFFY TOWEL IN HERE TO DRY HIM OFF. I HAD RECENTLY CHANGED CARS. I NEVER DID GET THE CAMPER / DAY VAN (YET).. SO I BOUGHT A COUPLE OF BOXES TO STORE IN THRE BACK OF THE MPV, TO STORE THE DAY OUT "STUFF"
SUCH AS TOWELS, FIRST AID KIT , EXTRA AND DRY CLOTHING AND SOMETHING TO CLEAN THE HANDS AFTER BEACH SEARCHES AND DOG DUTIES
. I HAVE A PICNIC BAG TOO. FOR NOW THIS WILL BE MY DAY VAN.

A BLEAK MORNING.

SAT IN THE CAR WATCHING HAILSTONES SLIDE DOWN THE WINDSCREEN , WITH SEAHAM HALL IN THE DISTANCE.

IT WAS STILL ONLY 8-30 a.m..... AND I WAS GLAD OF THE HEATED SEATS!

BEACH BUOY.
