HIYA...JUST LOGGED TO USE MY BLOG TO FIND THE THE TIDE TIMES AND WEATHER REPORT VIA THE BBC LINK.
IT INFORMS ME ...

MIN TEMP 1
VISIBILITY GOOD.
MY "BIG" CAMERA HAS BEEN TAKING A POUNDING WITH STRONG WINDS AND SAND DAMAGE, SO THOUGHT I WOULD CHECK THE REPORT.
YESTERDAY'S PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN WITH MY "LITTLE" CAMERA ...A FUJIFILM FINEPIX A 805. IT IS SMALL AND EASILY FITS INTO A TOP POCKET OUT, OF THE WAY OF ANY ADVERSE WEATHER
HAVE A NICE SUNDAY.
THE BEACH IS CALLING.

SEATON CAREW & BLUE LAGOON 19 FEB 2011

ARRIVED AT SEATON CAREW BEACH AROUND 7 AM
IT WAS AROUND 3 DEGREES IN TEMPERATURE.
IT WAS COLD AND WET.

LOTS OF TIMBER HAD BEEN WASHED UP AT THE BLUE LAGOON.
MAINLY TWIGS AND BRANCHES, SO POSSIBLY ALL WASHED DOWN RIVER RECENTLY AND PUSHED TO THE LAGOON BY THE INCOMING TIDE?

I CARRIED BONNIE DOWN BY THE NORTH SIDE OF THE NORTH GARE.
SOME OF THE WW2 BEACH DEFENCES,SEEMED TO HAVE BEEN PLACED ON SOME SUBSTANTIAL TIMBERS, MAYBE AT THE TIME THEY WERE PLACED THERE, THE SAND WAS SOFT AND THEY WERE SINKING INTO THE BEACH?
I WILL CONTACT TEES ARCHAEOLOGY

SOME OF THE TIMBERS HAD WHAT LOOKED LIKE STAINLESS STEEL WIRE RUNNING THROUGH THEM, AS IF THEY HAD BEEN TIED TOGETHER?

I LIKE TO FIND PIECES WITH LOTS OF PATTERNS
ON THEM.

AN OLD PHOTOGRAPH
THOUGHT TO BE A FAMILY CONNECTION
SADLY IT HAS ONLY APPEARED AS THE SIZE OF A POSTAGE STAMP
THE PHOTOGRAPH WAS TAKEN AROUND THE AREA I WAS VISITING TODAY
ALL WE NEED IS A PC GURU TO TELL ME HOW TO MAKE THE IMAGE LARGE
