OCTOBER 24, 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach.
It was 7-29 a.m.
The sky was spectacular.

The tide was well out.
There was a chill in the air.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

Lightly coloured Seafront house glowed an orange glow

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed South.
Others did too.
Beach Buoy stuffed chilly hands into pockets.

"Best part of the day."
Dad would say...

It would soon be sunrise.

The random pipe.

Beach Buoy's attention was drawn to the clouds above The Wind Turbine Yard.

He looked back towards the sea
The Sun was rising.
As predicted, it came up from behind North Gare Pier.

Sun up.
He chatted to Team One Black Ear as the Village Church Bells rang for 7-45.

Some nice clouds.
Team Muzzled Dog caught up.
They all walked and talked a while.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.
Beach Buoy added two sturdy stones to the sea defence.

Up the small slope.

Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Morning Mate."
It was 8-07.
He scattered some seeds.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl.

Beach Buoy had a stand and think.
He waved at his sunshine shadow.
It waved back.
Beach Buoy had waved with his left hand.
The Shadow waved with it's right.

Crows waited at various locations for breakfast.

Breakfast is served.
Beach Buoy and Another had begun to head back to the beach.

Golden times.
Back to the beach.
The Lady with a White Dog and a Black Dog was heading south.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Half distant waves were shared.

They headed north.
The man who once had four dogs passed by with three.
"Morning."
"Morning Paul. Alright?"
"Yes. You?"
"Yes."
They mentioned the weather.
"The calm before the storm."

Up in the car park, many horseboxes were arriving.
EGB had organised a meeting.

Beach Buoy.

OCTOBER 24.

Drawing to follow.

It will be of an event or meeting on the beach this morning.

Thanks for looking.

OCTOBER 23, 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. AN AFTERNOON VISIT.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog had parked up in Seaton Carew Park.

It was 12-15p.m.

They walked the short distance to the Seafront.

Borrowed Dog and Another Dog.

The Seafront.

A metal detectorist searched for gold.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The tide was more in than it was out.

The view north.

They had joined the beach via the ramp near to The Crazy Golf and Colourful Beach Huts.

A couple headed north with their small dog.

They headed south.

A couple of Crows were pleased to see and possibly recognise Beach Buoy.

They landed nearby.

He scattered some seeds for them.

The Village Green looked as pretty as a picture.

Beach Buoy fed an  another afternoon Crow.

He soon had lots of new friends.

The Metal detectorist wandered southwards before heading off into the dunes.

People with a tape measure and a red and white stick.

Crow on a driftwood perch.

Close up.

Behind it, a grey sea folded under a grey sky.

They walked the low level route.

Beach Buoy added two sturdy stones.

They climbed the small slope.

"Afternoon Mate."

It was 1-03.

Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.

He patted

THE

stone.

He scattered some seeds for the Crows.

He topped up the wildlife water bowl.

They had stand and a think.

"See you mate."

Crows went for Afternoon Tea.

Beach Buoy the Digs maxed thru way along the low level route.

Down on the beach, Dottie Dog was running south along the water's edge.

Her owner had already turned back north.

The dog turned to follow.

They headed back.

Beach Buoy chatted to a workmate from back in the day.

Twenty minutes later they went their separate ways.

It was a choppy sea.

A lost / found Dog collar and id.

Beach Buoy messaged the number.

It was a Border Collie a from the other side of town.

Beach Buoy dropped it off at a local vets for collection.

BEACH BUOY.

OCTOBER 23, 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Another Dog woke Beach Buoy at 4 a.m.

Beach Buoy headed to the beach alone.

As he took the short drive, the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were walking around the block.

It looked like that they were giving the beach a miss for now.

It was wet and windy.

The view north.

Unsurprisingly there was no one else around.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones from a beach if shifting, wind-blown sand.

The sea was rough.

The rain was horizontal.

Beach Buoy was "fine."

Riverside Industries glowed to the west.

He walked a torch-lit low level route.

He added two sturdy stones to most probably useless sea defence.

Up the small slope.

"Morning Mate."

It was 7 a.m.

He added the five suitable stones.

He patted

THE

stone.

He checked to the north.

He moved the torch light around like he was in Scooby Doo.

"He'd have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those pesky kids."

See you mate."

He returned to the beach.

Back to the North.

He headed back along a lively water's edge.

He looked back to the south.

He continued North.

The sewer pipe that had been exposed yesterday was hidden by sand once again.

A steady stream of car headlights were traveling south.

Off along to work.

Silhouettes of Gulls passed by in the darker sky.

Back to The Esplanade.

The rain had stopped.
