Tuesday morning.
It was windy.
Beach Buoy left Another Dog behind.
He reached the Car Park alone at 6-34 a.m.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach access ramp at 6-32.
As they headed down, the lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper came up.
They stopped for a short chat before going their own ways.
Sunday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
Some barriers were still in place.
The man on a tricycle was thwarted on his attempt to reach his usual stopping and turning point.
The tide seemed to be out further than Beach Buoy could ever recall.
There was a light breeze from the south west.
Beach Buoy spotted Team One Black Ear.
He went over for a chat.
They were heading home.
They chatted.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the low level route, crossing shells and seacoal as they did so.
Beach Buoy played beach bubble wrap on the sea shells.
If anyone asks, he is making sand.
The Lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper were heading back to the north.
They discussed dogs and fireworks.
Beach Buoy headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"See you mate."
The Sun broke through the cloud as they headed back to the beach below.
Beach Buoy continued the game of beach bubble wrap as they headed back to the north.
As he crossed the car park, he spotted Mr.Gunn/Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie.
They chatted.
BEACH BUOY.
His passed Bus Station Clock Tower at 6-50.
It may look otherwise.
People and shadows tell lies.
The strong wind was from the south west.
The tide was well out.
The Seaton Carew Wreck.
Why no dog?
This is why...
To the north a man talked loudly into his mobile phone.
Sand went from Dune to sea.
Beach Buoy paused to look out to sea.
The wind almost pushed him over.
It was better to keep moving.
He headed for the low level route.
The height of the dunes offered some shelter from wind.
It was almost like a calm day.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-29.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more.
He had a stand and think.
"See you mate."
He had decided to keep going south along the dune edge.
He passed the camp and bicycle that had been abandoned about a month earlier.
After resting on a barnacle encrusted tank trap to make notes in his beach book, Beach Buoy made his way back.
The return journey was without incident or discussion.
The second abandoned bicycle of the day.
A few hours later the wheels would be taken, leaving the frame.
It seemed to be a strange situation.
BEACH BUOY.
