The day started with a snowy pre-work walk with the dog. |
As always whenever possible it was the Beach after work. |
Sea, Sand and Snow. |
The horizon was a multitude of stormy colours. |
The Bay. BEACH BUOY. |
It was around 7-30am. It was cold but bright. |
Headed South. |
I stashed this and collected it on the way back. |
North Gare Pier to the left. A ship prepares to enter Port. South Gare Pier on far side. |
The tide was well out. I went as far South as I could without a boat. |
Another fisherman's shelter, like the ones yesterday. This one was a little more exposed. |
Rear view. |
My little mate was a bit tired. |
Driftwood. |
I glanced back to the South as I headed North. |
Back to bracing Seaton Carew. |

Started prating on doing plate designs. BEACH BUOY. |
Another early start on a frosty Beach. |
A lone wading bird enjoys the space. |
Sea glass |
Lots of vapour trails crossing each other today. |
The Rumbling, Tumbling Sea. Means so much to me, I need to be in reach, Of all that is Beach. |
The River mouth. |
Off along north Gare Beach. |
As far South as I could go. The strip of land to the right is protected.... |
The land is protected so I circled it via it's Beaches. |
Fishermen's shelter, led me to believe they must maroon themselves here between tides, to fish, chat and keep warm by that campfire? |
Another Shelter ...... |
Back to North Gare Beach. |
Back to Seaton Carew. |
Seaton Sands. |
Time to go. |

Day off for an appointment so it was an early, frosty Beach visit to start the day... it was minus 2. |
Two dogs in tow today. |
I never ever tire of seeing the Sea. |
I could sit in a shack every day and watch the Sea and Sky do it's work. |
From Gold to Silver... |
