SEAHAM

BEEN TO SEAHAM AGAIN
I TIMED THE VISIT FOR LOW TIDE
BUT AS THE WIND WAS SO STRONG
THE WIND BLOWN SAND HAD SCATTERED ACROSS THE PEBBLED AREAS WHERE THE IT'S BEST TO LOOK FOR SEA GLASS
SO WITH HINDSIGHT PERHAPS IT MAY BE BEST TO TIME FUTURE VISITS
AS THE TIDE GOES OUT
BUT CARE MUST BE TAKEN AS THE WAVES AT SEAHAM CAN BE VERY VERY WILD.

DESPITE THE WIND BLOWN SAND PROBLEM... WITH A BIT OF SCRAPPING PLENTY OF GLASS WAS FOUND.
BELOW THE DAY'S FIND INCLUDING A BRASS G FOR GLASS

THE BEAUTY BELOW WAS BURIED IN SAND AND LOOKED LIKE A SHELL.

A LADY CAME AND ENQUIRED WHAT I WAS DOING
BENT OVER SEARCHING ON THE BEACH.
"SEA GLASS" I REPLIED
SHE SAID THAT IT WAS HER FIRST SEA GLASS HUNT AT SEAHAM
SHE TOLD ME OF A BEACH UP NORTH WHERE LARGE GLASS CAN BE FOUND
BUT TOO BIG TO MAKE JEWELLERY
MUST GO !!!!
THERE WAS A NICE VARIETY OF COLOURS TODAY...

SEA GLASS LOOKS STUNNING WHEN WET
BUT CAN LOOK DULL WHEN DRY
I HAVE RUBBED A FEW PIECES WITH OLIVE OIL
AT THE MOMENT THEY HAVE KEPT THEIR SHINE

BEACH BUOY.
