Saturday Morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6-48 a.m.
Beach Buoy baby carried a reluctant dog to the sloping wall that runs alongside the access ramp.
She trotted down it.
Up on the Esplanade, a cyclist was heading north.
"Morning."
"Morning Mate."
"Have a good one."
"You too."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog had only taken a few steps away from the access ramp.
A lady appeared as if out of thin air.
She made herself comfortable on the sloping wall.
They headed to the sea, collecting five suitable stones as they did so.
To the north a lady beach cleaned.
Team One Black Ear walked the water's edge.
The tide was high, the beach narrow.
Beach Buoy had checked the sunrise time.
7 a.m.
It was 7-11 by the time that the Sun cleared low cloud.
Milo, the borrowed dog saw Beach Buoy.
The friendly dog dropped a Scooby Doo ball at Beach Buoy's feet.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading back to the north.
Beach Buoy walked and talked with Team one Black Ear for a while.
Dennis the Dog turned up.
Beach Buoy fussed the dog.
Beach Buoy had wondered how come they had suddenly started to appear on the beach.
Family business, back down south soon.
They headed to the low level route.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-21.
Breach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
They both had a sit and think.
Team Muzzled Dog came up the small sandy slope to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy stood up to give them more room to pass.
Beach Buoy stood for a while, eyes shut.
He stood like a Beach Buoy shaped solar panel, soaking up the sun.
He sat back down on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
Fully charged.
The weather was just about perfect.
He could sit all day long.
Through a gap in the long dune edge grass, Beach Buoy noticed someone sit with a thermal mug on the grey rocks.
A sit, think and drink.
White edged waves rolled onto grey rocks.
They sat in the Sun.
Their sunshine shadows stretched out behind on dune grasses.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.
They made their way back from the above scene at the grey rocks.
A shadow-like Crow just took a moment.
Beach Buoy stopped to chat to the lady with a red coat and a brow dog called Jasper.
It a Spaniel.
The sturdy dog came over top be fussed.
They chatted about the wonder of being out early on the beach.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued back to the van.
He shared distant waves with the lady with a black dog called Dylan.
Up ahead the Sunlight caught a single window in The Norton Hotel.
It shone back brightly back into the bay.
It was either the Sun's reflection or maybe someone in the hotel had bought a bulb form the cast of Still Game?
If you do a you tube search.
"Still Game Light Bulb", you'll get the drift.
There is some colourful language in the clip.
One line is a classic.
BEACH BUOY.
