Beach Buoy.

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL 30, SEPTEMBER 2025.

 Tuesday Morning.

Beach Buoy had gone to bed very early.
More surprisingly he slept too.
His battery felt fully charged for a change.
Another Dog had slept as long as Beach Buoy did.
She was bright eyed and bushy tailed today.

They headed to the beach.

He could see an orange flashing light on the Esplanade.

It was Scruffy the dog with an illuminated collar on.
Beach Buoy chatted to his owner and the lady with a greyhound.
"Haven't seen you for ages." noted Beach Buoy.
"People were saying thought you'd died, charming." Scruffy's owner replied.
An update about the 7 a.m. club was shared.

The Esplanade Cyclist passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.

A ship headed towards the river.

Up ahead, confident silhouettes walked the water's edge.
A lady and her dog.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

Wind Turbine and Sea Serpent Marker.

A man and his Border Collie headed north.

They headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-05.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He sat on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
Another Dog sat nearby.
Upright and on guard.
She was glad to be out.

Dennis the Dog and his owner passed by on the beach below.
Distant waves were shared.
It doesn't take long to join the distant wave club.
All are welcome.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple came and went.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.

There was hardly a breath of wind.
The tide was out far enough to allow beach access to Sand Martin Corner.

Rays of early morning Sun stretched across the sea and sky.

The lady who walks the full beach passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."

They stopped to chat to Team Muzzled Dog, sharing the 7 a.m. club update.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued northwards.
The man with a small black dog stopped to chat.
He commented on how lively Another Dog was looking today.

29, SEPTEMBER 2025 SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL

He had already been on the beach.
He really could do with a sleep.
Borrowed Dog was a house guest.
Two dogs sat staring at Beach Buoy.
"Entertain us."...
Beach....
They reached the beach at 10-45.
Beach Buoy paid for parking.
Things were that serious.

There was a hint of a breeze from the west.
It was vet bright and sunny.
The tide was a good way in.

Beach Buoy gathered five more suitable stones.

They headed south.
Others walked the beach.
Maybe these are all beach regulars?
This is there time and place?

It was warm.
A lady, walking the water's edge took off her coat as she walked.
Beach Buoy could hear the ghost of Georgie Boy, his dad say...
"The easiest way to carry a coat is to wear it.

"Morning Mate."
it was 11-17.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
They all had a sit and think.
Dogs on sand, Beach Buoy on a driftwood seat with an elevated view.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.

The sea sparkled like it was the height of summer.

A glorious morning.

29, SEPTEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Monday morning.

Beach Buoy had been awake most of the night.
Another Dog watches every move.
She was extra tired.
She stayed in bed.

Beach Buoy reached the beach at 6-45 a.m.
He headed down the beach access ramp.
"Morning!"
The Esplanade Cyclist shouted as he passed on The Esplanade above.
"Morning."
"No dog?"
"She's still in bed."

He headed to the sea.
Team One Black Ear were up ahead.
He caught them up.
They walked and talked.

The Sun came up and out.

Another Day.
Another Day that his mate Geoff never got to see.

Treasure each one.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-13 a.m.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added the five suitable stones in five suitable locations.

He had a sit and think on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.

On the beach below, Team One Black Ear chatted to Dennis the Dog's owner.

"See you mate."
He headed back.

Team One Black Ear were now chatting to Team Muzzled Dog.
They shared distant waves.

The lady with a black dog called Dylan passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning. No dog?"
"Still in bed."

Beach Buoy continued northwards.
The lady who walks the full length of the beach was walking south along the water's edge.
"Morning."
"Morning."

28, SEPTEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 A Sunday afternoon visit,
Arrived 2 p.m.

A crowd had gathered.
One had a guitar strapped to his back.

The tide was low enough to expose the Seaton Carew Wreck.

Ship timber Shanty Town.

A lonely cloud wandered.

"Afternoon Mate."
Five suitable stone were added.
He patted
THE
stone.
A sit and think took place.

"See you Mate."

Continue South.

Fishermen on North Gare Pier.

A Horse rider and horse looked out to sea.

BEACH BUOY.

28, SEPTEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Sunday morning.
As Beach Buoy was putting Another Dog into the van, the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple passed by.
They were of to the beach too.
They went at speed on foot.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6-53 a.m.

As Beach Buoy faffed at the van, the man with a tricycle went by.

They headed to the sea, collecting five suitable stones as they did so.

There had been lots of overnight rain.
The car park was as wet as the sky.
It was just a fine drizzle now.

It was a grey sea and sky.
The white edge of the sea turned like pages in a slowly-read book.

Beach Buoy paused for a hot sip of coffee from a thermal mug.

From the north, the lady who walks the full length of the beach approached.

The Wind Turbines were like a distant memory in the greyness.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple. Their colourful coats brightened a gloomy start to the day.

Others headed back northwards.

Walking the water's edge.

There was a very light breeze.
It was so light that it was difficult to judge its direction.
Beach Buoy plumped for west.

Dennis the dog trotted by, his owner walked.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Dennis went to dance with a small black dog, then he and his owner headed to the dunes well before Stubborn Dog Stack.

To the north a Labrador ran to the sea.

The lady who walks the full length of the beach headed back.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Team Muzzled Dog appeared.
They greeted one another.
Beach Buoy let them claim the low level route first.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-31.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Although it was wet, he sat on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.

It was a grey view but still wonderful.
Savour every second.
Long time dead.

Down on the beach below, the lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper had walked as far south as the tide would allow.
She and Jasper turned to head back.

Beach Buoy sipped more hot coffee.

"See you mate."

From the vantage point of Stubborn Dog Stack, he could see that the beach below would be theirs for a while at least.

But you can share it too...

They took their time walking back.
After all they have forever now .

Gradually the gloom began to lift.
The Turbines came fully into view one by one.

They headed back to the van as a lady with the unusual combination of three dachshunds and a Great Dane headed to the beach.

"Yikes."

SEATON SANDS
HARTLEPOOL

Beach Buoy.

27, SEPTEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Saturday Morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6-48 a.m.

Beach Buoy baby carried a reluctant dog to the sloping wall that runs alongside the access ramp.
She trotted down it.

Up on the Esplanade, a cyclist was heading north.
"Morning."
"Morning Mate."
"Have a good one."
"You too."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog had only taken a few steps away from the access ramp.
A lady appeared as if out of thin air.
She made herself comfortable on the sloping wall.

They headed to the sea, collecting five suitable stones as they did so.

To the north a lady beach cleaned.

Team One Black Ear walked the water's edge.
The tide was high, the beach narrow.

Beach Buoy had checked the sunrise time.
7 a.m.

It was 7-11 by the time that the Sun cleared low cloud.

Milo, the borrowed dog saw Beach Buoy.
The friendly dog dropped a Scooby Doo ball at Beach Buoy's feet.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading back to the north.

Beach Buoy walked and talked with Team one Black Ear for a while.

Dennis the Dog turned up.
Beach Buoy fussed the dog.
Beach Buoy had wondered how come they had suddenly started to appear on the beach.
Family business, back down south soon.

They headed to the low level route.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-21.
Breach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

They both had a sit and think.

Team Muzzled Dog came up the small sandy slope to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy stood up to give them more room to pass.

Beach Buoy stood for a while, eyes shut.
He stood like a Beach Buoy shaped solar panel, soaking up the sun.

He sat back down on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
Fully charged.

The weather was just about perfect.

He could sit all day long.

Through a gap in the long dune edge grass, Beach Buoy noticed someone sit with a thermal mug on the grey rocks.
A sit, think and drink.

White edged waves rolled onto grey rocks.

They sat in the Sun.
Their sunshine shadows stretched out behind on dune grasses.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.

They made their way back from the above scene at the grey rocks.

A shadow-like Crow just took a moment.

Beach Buoy stopped to chat to the lady with a red coat and a brow dog called Jasper.
It a Spaniel.
The sturdy dog came over top be fussed.
They chatted about the wonder of being out early on the beach.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued back to the van.

He shared distant waves with the lady with a black dog called Dylan.

Up ahead the Sunlight caught a single window in The Norton Hotel.

It shone back brightly back into the bay.

It was either the Sun's reflection or maybe someone in the hotel had bought a bulb form the cast of Still Game?
If you do a you tube search.
"Still Game Light Bulb", you'll get the drift.
There is some  colourful language in the clip.
One line is a classic.

BEACH BUOY.
