18, SEPTEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Thursday Morning.

Typically, the sunrise sky looked to be glorious.

Beach Buoy had to head the other way.

It was later in the morning by the time Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.

They reached the Esplanade at 9-27 a.m.

A couple had just sat on the

"Sand out of your shoes."

bench.

"Morning."

"Morning mate."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.

It was as bright as it was breezy.

Beach Buoy wondered when a strong breeze became a light wind.

The wind would strengthen as the walk went on.

A Metal Detectorist worked the strandline.

A jogger headed northwards along the water's edge.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones as they walked to the sea.

The tide was well out, way beyond the Seaton Carew Wreck.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog began to head to the low level route, up beyond the strandline.

Pier repairs were ongoing.
Cement Mixer Trucks came and went .
Beach Buoy presumed that the wagon at the end of the Pier was pumping concrete to the required locations.

They reached Stubborn Dog Stack.

9-54.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

They crossed the grey rocks on the beach below and made their way to North Gare Pier.

People stood chatting on the Pier.

Grey rocks go all the way from Stubborn Dog Stack to the Tank Traps.
A Lone Sand Martin twisted and turned its way into the breeze.
Beach Buoy could almost hear it laugh.
His "All of the Sand Martins have gone." remark seems foolish now.

One of the Tank Traps had a visitor.
Beach Buoy can say with confidence that it was a bird.

A Jogger had reached the Pier ahead of them.
He took a pee before jogging back to the north.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back north too.

Two Dog walkers headed south with eleven or twelve dogs on the loose.
They were up near the dunes.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog stayed by the sea.

The Sea Serpent Marker.

Beach Buoy waved to Stubborn Dog Stack as they passed by on the beach below.

BEACH BUOY.
