International talk like a Pirate day.
Captain Pugwash.
Treasure for later...
Beach Buoy would go on to visit his old workplace.
Do a breakfast bun run and provide gold coins.
All in memory of his great friend Geoff.
They always celebrated International talk like a pirate day.
They wore Pugwash badges.
Sharne joined the crew in recent years.
She is Captain now.
But first there was a beach, not a plank to walk...
A dull orange glow out at sea.
It was 6-27 a.m.
not quite sunrise.
It became brighter.
The shades of orange changed.
Orange became peach.
Peach became grey.
The tide was out beyond the Seaton Carew Wreck.
There was a warm wind from the west.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
Spots of rain became rain.
Shortly afterwards rain became spots.
The confident lady with a confident dog walked southwards by the sea,
Her dog barked at the breaking waves, confidently.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south, near to the strandline.
Two people had stepped down from near to Stubborn Dog Stack.
They walked the low level route.
It was a tall thin man with a shorter woman.
The woman was carrying a plastic shopping bag.
They looked somewhat out of place.
More Supermarket than dunes.
The lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper headed south with a friend.
They were walking at a quicker pace down by the sea.
They shared distant waves.
For the first time ever, Jasper ran across the distance to be stroked by Beach Buoy.
Down near some driftwood, two men with Doodle Dogs headed back to the north.
The couple with the shopping bag headed towards the car park.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog made their way to the low level route.
Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-56.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
stone.
He added five more that he had deemed to be suitable.
He sat on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
A Lone Sand Martin flew southwards, or was it a Swallow?
It seemed slightly larger?
Are they larger?
Dennis the Dog passed by on the beach below with its owner.
They were heading south.
They dog spotted them up at Stubborn Dog Stack.
It trotted to the grey rocks but didn't venture up as far as the stack.
"see you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the beach.
Early morning oranges and peaches had dulled.
On the way back they met Team One Black Ear.
They chatted.
They continued north.
The man who once had four dogs but now has three passed by heading south.
Morning."
"Morning."
He only had two dogs at the time.
Number three was slightly to the north.
It was with Dasher and Border Collie Alfie getting chicken treats from Team Muzzled Dog.
Dennis the Dog and his owner caught up.
Beach Buoy made a fuss of the dog .
The dog owners chatted as they walked for a short while before veering off in different directions.
BEACH BUOY.
