20, SEPT. 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Saturday Morning.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached a rain-soaked Esplanade at 6-28 a.m.
The lady who once fell off her bike and her companion had already scampered back to the north under the shelter of a shared umbrella.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.

The lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper came down shortly afterwards.
Jasper was sporting a bright green illuminated colour.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Coloured lights time again?"
"So I can see him if he goes off in the dunes."

As the darker mornings draw in more of the dogs will be wearing lights.
Ruby has two that constantly change colour.
The changing colours please Beach Buoy and put him at ease on miserable dark mornings.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
A couple appeared with two dogs off their leads.
They were strangers.
Beach Buoy didn't know how the dogs were.
The strangers claimed the water's edge.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog claimed the dune edge.

A lost found Scooby Doo Ball.
Beach Buoy placed into his beach bag.
A spare for MIlo the borrowed dog should he lose his.

Beach Buoy made pencil notes on the damp pages of his beach book.
Jasper and his owner were heading back.
They chatted a little more.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the low level route.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-06.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

It was clear that a Very Damp Another Dog was keen to head back.

"See you mate."

They walked the low level route, back to the beach below.

The tide was a fair way out.

The confident lady with her confident dog marched southwards along the water's edge.

A Lady with an umbrella headed south too.
