Wednesday.
13th.
The van was in a garage getting new brakes fitted all around.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog set off on foot and paw at 5-47 a.m.
The walk to the beach should take about ten minutes...
With stops for sniffs and stubbornness, it took almost twenty.
It felt at times like they doing the moonwalk trying to reach the rising Sun.
It was odd.
Beach Buoy's usual "stuff" was in the van, at the garage.
So no beach bag.
A make-do beach book would have to do.
A short lead for Another Dog, again make-do.
From the Esplanade, Beach Buoy could see the Golden Sun.
A man and his dog headed south along the water's edge.
They disturbed 167 Resting Gulls.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.
A Cyclist was resting on the Esplanade wall to the south.
”Morning."
"Morning.”
Beach Buoy searched for five suitable, but small stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.
He had no Beach Bag.
They would have to fit comfortably in a rear pocket.
There was hardly a breath of wind.
The sea was as calm as a Beach Buoy.
Team One Black Ear caught up.
They chatted as they walked for while but for some reason Team One Black Ear seemed to disappear to the south.
Beach Buoy took the opportunity to take some some photographs.
