OCTOBER 14, 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Mr. Gunn/Lunn, Excellent Dog Alfie, Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked along the beach as the Sun came.
They had arrived together at 7-24 a.m.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The view back north.

A man headed north.
A barefoot lady did too.

Excellent Dog Alfie led the way.

He really is Excellent.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog went to the low level route.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie went up the big slope to the easy route.

Crows monitored Beach Buoy and Breakfast's progress.

After selecting and adding two sturdy stones to the sea defence, they climbed the small slope.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-52.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl.
Lots of unseen birds were singing from the nearby bushes.
They sounded small.

Beach Buoy had a sit and think.

Ruby, Another Dog did too.

"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.
Three Crows flew to the stack.

Dottie Dog and her owner ran northwards along the water's edge.

Back to the north, following the barefoot beach walkers footprints.
Barefoot in October.

The man who once had four dogs passed by with three.
" Morning."
"Morning Paul. Alright?"
"Yeah. You?"
" Not bad."
"Good Lad, keep going."

Up ahead, Not Not Beach Buoy his small dog and an additional dog cut across from the beach to the Esplanade.
They never seem to go beyond the start of the dunes.

OCTOBER 13, 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog went to the beach.

It was dark, darker than the photograph would have one believe.

It was 6-25 a.m.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones by torchlight.

Two torches, as advised by Beach Buoy's Das many years earlier.

"Always take two torches. If someone wants to come and steal your fish off you they will think twice if they think there are two of you."

Beach Buoy has no fish, just memories.

They headed south along the water's edge.

The high tide had began to turn.

In the darkness Beach Buoy could hear that they had birds for company. It sounded like Pied-Wagtails?

A silhouette was to the south..

It was a man with a Large White Poodle.

"Morning."

"Morning. He's lost his ball."

Beach Buoy wasn't surprised.

It was still dark.

They went their own ways.

A more accurate view of the light/dark situation.

Saying that, with the hint of orange and adjusting eyes the torches were turned off untill the low level route

No good picking up two sturdy stones if one has legs and runs off!

They walked the low level route.
Torches back on to choose two sturdy and legless stones.
They were added to the sea defence.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-52.

Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds.
He topped up the wildlife water bowl.

The beach below to the north.

"See you mate."
They headed back to the low level route.

No Crow activity just yet.
A little too dark and early for them.

Back along the water's edge.

Spots of rain began to fall.
Just spots.
Crows arrived.
Beach Buoy paused.
He pointed to an imaginary wrist watch.
"What time do you call this?
You'll have to go to the stack!"
He pointed in the direction of Stubborn Dog Stack.

Saying that, he had spare seed so he fed the confused birds after all.

Seafront windows began to reflect the day.

They access the beach by the ramp that is near the beach huts.

South Gare Pier.

The tide was high.

There was a warm breeze from the south west.

The Bus Station.

They headed south.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

Out in the Bay it looked like some training was taking place?

The boats headed to the River Tees.

One went aft first across the Bay.

The view back north.

Abandoned Shoes

Beach Buoy and Another made their way to the low level route.

He selected and placed two sturdy stones in a suitable spot on the sea defence.

Up the small slope.

"Afternoon Mate."

Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.

He patted

THE

stone

He scattered some seeds.

He topped up the wildlife water bowl.

He had a stand and a think.

He could see Crows waiting for them to leave.

They did so

"See you mate."

Sure enough a few steps along the low level route and the Crows made their way to Stubborn Dog Stack.

They headed back.

The tide has turned.

They walked a clean slate.

BEACH BUOY.
