SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

There will be a time when Beach Buoy can't go to the beach.

This little driftwood seat will transport him there.

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 7, OCTOBER 2025.

 Tuesday morning.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach at 6-31 a.m.
Having just missed the 7 a.m. club yesterday, they had come a little earlier in the hope of a chat.

It was still dark.
Sunrise was about forty minutes away,

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.

They headed towards the sea.

To the north Beach Buoy spotted the 7 a.m. club working his way south.

It was a two dog day.

A pair of flashing collars flashed orange.

"Morning Paul!"

Beach Buoy waited for them to catch up.

They had a lovely chat as like minded people do.

They went in opposite directions.

Beach Buoy headed south with Another Dog.

The 7 a.m. club headed back to the north with two dogs and a band of Happy Crows.

They continued to the south.

Sunrise was approaching.
They started to make their way to the low level route.

The Sky lit up.

A Crow and a cloud.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple came and went.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-13
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added the five suitable stones.

They had a sit and think on a driftwood seat with an elevated view.

Unusual clouds captured the light.

"See you Mate."

They returned to the beach below.

To the North, Team Muzzled Dog and Team One Black Ear chatted.

They were walking then low level rout at 7-20 when the Sun showed up/

They headed back.
They greeted Teams Muzzled Dog and One Black Ear.
They chatted as the lady who walks the full length of the beach did so.

They headed back with Team One Black Ear.
They all stopped to chat to Mr. Gunn/Lunn as they passed.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 6 OCTOBER 2025.

 Monday morning.

Beach Buoy faffed with his coat zip.
He gave up in the end, opting for the button option.
It was 6-43 a.m.
The person that walks the car park perimeter was doing so.

He reached the Esplanade at 6-48.
The Esplanade Cyclist passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Down on the beach, along the water's edge, Beach Buoy could see the unmistakable figure of the 7 a.m. club heading south.
It was good to see him on the beach again, even though it was at a distance.
Too distant for even a distant wave.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the sea.

To the north, Beach Buoy was pleased to see that the 7 a.m. club was chatting to Team One Black Ear.

He may get an update later?

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The tide was out as far as the wreck.

The wind was still strong but it seemed that all of the shifting sand had gone?

The first section of the beach was more like a cobbled street, with all of the softer sand gone.
He was spoilt for choice when he collected the suitable stones.

The wind from the west was very mild.

The Beachcombing Border Collie overtook them before turning to head back.
Only after Another Dog had gone on strike until they had passed.

One walked the water's edge.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the low level route.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-12 a.m.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added the five suitable stones.

He had a sit and think.
The rearranged meeting man rushed southwards on the beach below.

Another Dog chose to stand in a hand-me-down coat from Borrowed Dog.

Rearranged once more, the man hurried northwards.

"See you mate."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the beach.

It was glorious.
Thanks to the strong wind, the Dune Grasses nodded in agreement.

The Bay was spectacular.

Beach Buoy headed back.
He chatted to Team One Black Ear and fussed the two other dogs as he did so.
7 a.m. club update shared.

As they left the beach the lady with a black dog called Dylan passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 5, OCTOBER 2025.

 Sunday morning.

For the second day in a row Beach Buoy had woke at 3-30.
Its not too bad in the summer.
The beach is light early on.
Autumn and winter means a wait.

The wind was still very strong.
Beach Buoy went to the beach alone.
The shifting sands would be at Another Dog's eye level.

He arrived at 6-50.

He faffed at the side of the van, trying to put on his coat in a strong wind.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed down the beach access ramp just before him.

It was a cold wind form the west that blew.
The tide was washing around the Seaton Carew Wreck.
Beach Buoy hadn't checked the tide times.
He wasn't sure if the wreck was coming ashore or heading out to sea?

He collected five suitable stones.
He had brought back the most recent Brakesy painted stone.
He had second thoughts about taking it.
It was in the beach bag too

To the north a group of possible sunrise seekers headed to the water's edge with a large red light.

They all leaned into the strong wind.

Beach Buoy paused near to the water's edge, to make some beach notes.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were already heading back to the north.

The shifting sands snaked in the direction of the Wind Turbines.

"Sunrise" came.
Clouds behind the Turbines claimed it for themselves.

7-23 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
He patted
THE
stone.
He added five suitable stones.
He replaced the most recent Brakesy.
He checked the level of the wildlife water bowl.
All was well...

Beach Buoy had a sit and think on a driftwood seat with an elevated view.

The early morning Sun tried on a cloud belt for size.

It was a cloud hat that the Sun tried on next.

"See you mate."

Beach Buoy was drawn to the water's edge.

Team Muzzled Dog passed by near to the grey rocks.

The Sunlight stretched across the damp beach.

Beach Buoy stood watching the waves dance.

Spindrift.

Beach Buoy wandered to Sand Martin Corner.

He searched the shingle without success.

He headed back to the north.

A man dressed all in black headed south.
He looked like a sunshine shadow looking for somebody to share the beach with.

Corrugation.

Beach Buoy's sunshine shadow.

The lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper was heading back to the north along the dune edge.

A lady walked southwards along the strandline.
Her green plastic bag was more kite than bag in the strong wind.

On the ware's edge Gulls raised their wings as a shallow sea came in around them.
They looked like Victorian Ladies trying to keep their long dresses dry.

Once clear of the protection that the dune height offered, the beach was like a wind tunnel.

The shifting sands.
No good for dogs with little legs.

Beach Buoy headed back to the van.

Rita the Meter Maid braved the strong winds to check for returned coins at the parking meters.

4 OCTOBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL

 Saturday Morning.

Storm Amy had been doing stormy things.
It was still very windy.
Beach Buoy went to the beach alone.
The shifting Sands would be too much for Another Dog.
Its all eye level when you have little legs.

He reached the beach at 6-45 a.m.

Two sunrise seekers stood on the top of wind swept dunes.
It was over twenty minutes to sunrise.
They would be better off finding a sheltered view.

 The horizon was unusual.
A dark curtain was heading south, claiming the lighter sky and possibly the sunrise.
It was strange, the fact that it was moving southwards.
The wind was from the south west.
The small clouds were rushing north.
Would the curtain close before the sunrise appeared?

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The tide was way out beyond the Seaton Carew Wreck.

Patterns in the sand.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple arrived .
They walked the strandline.
Beach Buoy was as far from the sea as he was the strandline.

Conversation passed on Beach Buoy's right hand side.
The Border Collie Couple took the lead.

The southern edge off the grey mass caught the hidden Sun.

The race was on.
Sunrise or no sunrise?

 7-10 a.m. came.
The Sun didn't.

As Beach Buoy walked the low level route to Stubborn Dog Stack, the Sun appeared.

It was five minutes late.

"Morning Mate."
it was 7-19.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
 He patted
THE
stone.

He had a sit and think on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
He watched as the Sun began to climb clear of the Wind Turbines.

"See you mate."
He returned to the beach below.

He headed north.
Sea front windows took turns to reflect the early morning Sun.

Team Muzzled Dog headed southwards.
Distant waves...

Up ahead the man who once had four dogs  had his dogs sat around in a semi-circle as if he was reading them a story.
A Crow "Listened in too."
It will have been treats on offer.
Some of the Crows will be missing the 7 a.m. club.
He feeds them cat treats as  he walks the water's edge.

The man who once had four dogs, set off with three.
Distant waves had been shared.

Beach Buoy headed back to the van.
His tall sunshine shadow lead the way.

BEACH BUOY.
