JUST A BIKE RIDE. 15, AUG. 2025.

The Pier Fishermen were in competition with three seals.

Beach Buoy.

15, AUG.2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Friday.
Sunrise was at  5-41.

Low cloud had claimed it.

Beach Buoy sat Another Dog on the Esplanade Wall as they watched a Ship head out to sea.

The Sun cleared the low cloud as the Ship headed north.

The regular cyclist rested the southernmost end of The Esplanade Wall.

The Surf Rake Tractor travelled northwards, like a mechanised Beach Buoy, collecting beach stones.
The ongoing process of turning the nest site into a "tourist-friendly" beach.
Sadly not all tourist are "beach-friendly."
Some shouldn't be let out of the house, let alone onto the beach.

They walked down the access ramp.
”Morning."
To the Esplanade Cyclist.
Down to the sea.
The tide was well in.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

In flight entertainment.

"What's with all of the talking."

Others began to head south.
Beach Buoy had used a x30 zoom on his phone camera to see who was heading their way.

In time, two men with Doodle Dogs came and went.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-34.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more.
He topped up the wildlife water bowls.
He sat on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.

Sit and think.

Back to the beach.

Back to the van.

Back to reality.

14, AUG 2025. HARTLEPOOL HEADLAND.

No words but these.

BEACH BUOY.

Wednesday, 13 August 2025

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 13, AUG. 2025.

Wednesday.
13th.
The van was in a garage getting new brakes fitted all around.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog set off on foot and paw at 5-47 a.m.
The walk to the beach should take about ten minutes...
With stops for sniffs and stubbornness, it took almost twenty.
It felt at times like they doing the moonwalk trying to reach the rising Sun.

It was odd.
Beach Buoy's usual "stuff" was in the van, at the garage.
So no beach bag.
A make-do beach book would have to do.
A short lead for Another Dog, again make-do.

From the Esplanade, Beach Buoy could see the Golden Sun.

A man and his dog headed south along the water's edge.

They disturbed 167 Resting Gulls.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.
A Cyclist was resting on the Esplanade wall to the south.
”Morning."
"Morning.”
Beach Buoy searched for five suitable, but small stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.
He had no Beach Bag.
They would have to fit comfortably in a rear pocket.

There was hardly a breath of wind.

The sea was as calm as a Beach Buoy.

Team One Black Ear caught up.
They chatted as they walked for while but for some reason Team One Black Ear seemed to disappear to the south.
Beach Buoy took the opportunity to take some some photographs.
