SEATON SANDS 07 SEPTEMBER 2018.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived in the Beach Car Park at 6-30 p.m.
They were met by Stubborn Dog's mini me . A lovely Dog. The owners chatted for ten minutes or so, exchanging  Stubborn Stories; a nice dog encounter.

As if to prove a point ... just putting the S in Stubborn.

Cod head!
Two Gulls were just ahead of Beach Buoy, they were trying to keep their distance but seemed reluctant to fly, they ran ahead, like a couple of dodgy shoplifting suspects.

As the light changed Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog headed for the North Gare Pier at the mouth of the River Tees.

There were ripples to the South...

... and to the North.
They sat down by the Gare on an overturned WW2 anti tank defence block and took notes.
A Man walked by with his dog.
"Evening." said Beach Buoy!
"Nice night ain't it." replied the man as he headed off over the dunes to North Gare Beach.

On the way back they found this flowery sea pottery up near the strand line.
Light was already fading a little, the clouds over the dunes were turning Bruise Blue with an edging of Gold from the setting, but hidden from view Sun.
At the end of Dunes, Two parents repeatedly shouted at two children to "C'mon now!" The children were finding every excuse not to leave the Beach and were way back on the beach by the Dune edge. They seemed to have developed a skill in walking slowly. It was sort of a Wilson, Keppel and Betty move but heavily influenced by Michael Jackson's Moonwalk?

WILSON, KEPPLE AND BETTY.
Distant roadwork vehicles flashed their Orange lights like some far off amusement arcade.
A Siren sounded along the Sea Front; Friday night begins.

Then it was back to HQ to do the blog.
The editor
didn't last long
he went ZZZZZZZZZZZ... on my hoodie!
