SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 10 MAY 2018.

Beach Buoy was greeted by this and a happy dog when he got in from work.
He has seen the book on the internet and after seeing the names of the authors, he had to buy it.

The weather had picked up as the day went on.
Beach Buoy was going to wait a while before setting off for the beach but then he saw the clouds through long narrow window at the side of his house.
He grabbed two dogs, one beach bag and headed for the beach like a big daft kid.

The tide was well out. The Beach was much quieter than he had expected. They headed South over a mixture of damp sand and pea sized shingle.

STOP!
He saw a Dog in the distance and needed to concentrate.
The Dog came over; a white Highland Terrier.
The Visitor had a Pink Collar on.

Beach Buoy never under estimates how lucky he is to live by the Sea. He is also grateful for finds from the Beach.

Every time he finds a Sea Alley, he thinks it will be the last.

He often thinks " What's the chance of finding a Sea Alley? A Million to one?" So then his mind wanders and he asks himself how many pieces of shingle on the Beach?
He was no Bookie, but if his odds were correct then it must be a million because he found one  tonight.

Make that 500,000 to 1 !

The Beach looked almost deserted as they headed back.

The Beach was very clean tonight, all that he had gathered tonight was  a short piece of Green Nylon Rope and a ball of fluff from deep in his jean's pocket. By the end of the walk these items had been added to by the inclusion of a half of a Tennis Ball;bald and a plastic bottle half full of sand. ... or half empty.

Beach buoy washed and photographed the night's finds as he waited for the kettle to boil.

BEACH BUOY.
