SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL 28-02-17.

14 minutes to high tide at Seaton Carew, Hartlepool.

The waves were reaching the Dunes. I sat there a while watching the Sea and the Sky.

I had never seen one of these before and had to refer to my copy of
THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO BEACHCOMBING
AND THE STRANDLINE
to find it was a Common Sunstar.

Not many finds as it was Bang On high tide.
I am trying to be more selective with my finds.
Here we have some glass, driftwood and some manmade stone flooring ?

The clouds threatened;but were all talk.
The Sea was well out , but coming in.

We ( Dog and I ). walked as far North Gare.

Bit of a mixture tonight.

Driftwood in the Dunes.

He has become accustomed to me stopping regularly and relaxes at the drop of a Hat.

The North Gare in the distance. The band of yellow light stretched across the Horizon.
