SEATON CAREW & BLUE LAGOON SATURDAY 25 09 10

Arrived alone around 6-50am
The weather was wild and poor Bonnie has been looking all of her 17 years of late.I made the difficult decision to leave Bonnie at home in the warm.
It didn't go down well...she can sense when a beach walk is imminent, felt dreadful leaving her behind.Sorry Bonnie
Anyway i headed out on a rough but exhilarating morning with camera in hand
The sea was wild.

The photograph below shows the extent that the waves were coming in and out.

On the photograph below you can see the wind ripping the top off the waves.

It was around this point of the walk i made an interesting Discovery...more of which on another blog entry.

The photograph belows shows a flooded area of dune, I have never seen it like this before.

I didn't see the large wave on the right as i took the photograph.

The fisherman enjoying some luck and a stormy sea.

The rough sea had washed up a large amount of coal and starfish.

Below Bonnie wasn't a happy pupps when i returned home
but i was glad she had been sleeping in the sunlight
and warming her old aching bones.
